Primary Responsibilities: Technical development of national and regional population and habitat survey programs, with emphasis on development, maintenance, and integration of web-based data management tools.

Areas of Expertise/Interest: Bird monitoring: my primary interest is in working with biologists and land managers to help them meet their needs for maintaining, sharing, and getting the most from their bird monitoring data. My primary tools for pursuing this involve the development of browser-based data management tools using relational databases, ColdFusion, and geospatial technologies.
Active Projects: Bird Point Count Database Breeding Bird Atlas Explorer / mapping (try it out for the entire Northeastern US!) NBII Bird Conservation Node (continued input and participation) For Monitoring programs at PWRC: developing web & non-web GIS capabilities, & supporting database management, development, and integration.
