Primary Responsibilities: 
Webmaster of Patuxent Core Server; Web-related support for Center staff; Member of Web Committee; Serves variety of web databases using Cold Fusion software; SAS statistical software support; ESRI products contract representative for Center; Manages and maintains home pages for Patuxent partners including Partners in Flight and the North American Waterbird Conservation Plan; Provides guidance and documentation for ordering of computer hardware and software.

Education/Training: 
Several computer-related training courses or workshops concerning web design and development and other desktop software packages.
Two graduate school courses in Biostatistics, University of Maryland, 1978.
B.S., University of Maryland, College Park, MD, 1975; Conservation and Resource Development: Fish and Wildlife Management, College of Agriculture.

2006: Time Off Recognition for help in reconstruction of whooping crane pens

2000: Patuxent STAR award for technical expertise assistance in producing 2 compact discs about the Contaminant Hazard Reviews, authored by Ron Eisler, May, 2000. 

2000: Patuxent STAR award for development of world wide web access to two databases concerning contaminant exposure and effects, April, 2000.

Active Projects: 
Maintenance and management of the following websites: Patuxent core web server, Bird Banding Laboratory's Web Encounter Pages, Whooping crane web page for Patuxent; Maintenance of several databases that we serve on the web including: Contaminant Exposure and Effects--Terrestrial Vertebrates (CEE-TV),  Biological and Ecotoxicological Characteristics of Terrestrial Vertebrate Species Residing in Estuaries, Partners in Flight Home Page, North American Waterbird Conservation Plan Home Page.

Ongoing support for Patuxent's Certification and Accreditation effort for our network and Enterprise Web.

Using DOI contracts for purchasing of hardware and software for staff and following correct procedures.
