Title

Demography of deer and mice at Fire Island National Seashore

Project Description

This project has as it principal aim to assess the demography (density, population composition,

and dynamics) of white-tailed deer and common mice on the Lighthouse Tract of Fire Island

National Seashore. In addition, tick burdens of individuals are assessed to ascertain the

prevalence of Lyme Disease spirochetes.
