Title Development of satellite telemetry methods for birds and application to the study of

bird migration

Project Description This project develops new techniques for monitoring movements and determining habitat use

toward conserving the worlds fauna. Results of each subproject provide essential information for

conservation groups and management agencies toward identifying important habitat areas,

locations of animal movement corridors, linking summering and wintering areas for subprojects,

determining nestling dependency periods, etc.
