Training: BBS Methodology - The BBS Route [page 24/34] Route Description Survey routes are approximately 24.5 miles (39.2 km) long and in most cases are located on suitable secondary roads. Routes are established in the BBS office using a stratified random methodology to choose the start points and direction of the route.
