Conducting
a Point Count
There
are probably as many ways to count and track birds at a point as
there are people conducting point counts. But many find it helpful
to envision a circle superimposed upon the point count location
with the observer at the center. Keeping the orientation of the
circle static with regard to the surroundings, mentally divide the
circle into four quadrants.
