Band Size and Type List by Band Prefix
This list includes all records computerized by the BBL. Many old bands had numbers that do not fit current practice. The data in this file reflects what we believe to be the correct size/type for these early bands. This data was revised on October 4, 2000.
"UK" means the band type is unknown; these prefixes are very old. "EX" indicates experimental band sizes that were not maintained. "NEW addr" indicates bands with the Laurel MD 20708 address. "Toll-free" bands have the 1-800-327-BAND telephone number stamped on the band. "No addr" indicates bands with only NBS-USA stamped on the bands.
