The region code consists of three digits, the first indicating the flyway and the last two indicating the specific area (state, province, or country). It is possible to select data from the files on the basis of flyway and/or specific area. Note that boundaries used for banding data are not the same as for hunting regulations in Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming.
