The Banding Operations database (Band-Ops) was an MS-DOS based, micro-computer aid to bird banding. Some of its major features include band inventory, data error checking, banding schedule generation, accomplishment reporting, and in association with the Retrap Module (RETRAP), management of encounters. It runs under MS-DOS (including the Windows environment) or as a DOS job under OS/2 . Support for Band-Ops has been discontinued. We are asking all Band-Ops users to convert to Band Manager.
