Treatment of the received dataset
We imported the
received dataset
with modifications as follows to better combine with other atlases or to match publication cited above:
White-faced Ibis, Peregrine Falcon, Scissor-tailed Flycatcher, Ring-billed Gull, and Franklin's Gull were mapped in the original publication but are not included here because they were only observed during the atlas period.
Osprey, Alder Flycatcher, Golden-winged Warbler, Canada Warbler, and Brewer's Blackbird were not mapped in the original publication but are mapped here because they were reported with data of PO or higher.Alder Flycatcher data for one block are missing but the block could not be specified because the species was not mapped in the original publication.
