Training: BBS Methodology - Methods and Equipment [page 5/34]
Requirements for Participation in the BBS include:
Picture of birds 1. Ability to identify all birds in area by appearance and vocalizations. Aural identification skills are very important since most birds detected along BBS routes are singing males.
Good Hearing 2.Good hearing ability and eyesight.
Suitable Transportation 3.Access to suitable transportation to complete the route.
Certificate 4.Successful completion of this training program.
Participate 5. Willingness to participate for 2 or more years.
