Training: BBS Methodology - The BBS Route [page 26/34] Route Safety There are numerous local traffic regulations dealing with the proper and safe parking of vehicles along roadsides. Please observer these regulations while conducting a BBS and remember to use caution in selecting an appropriate stopping place and when getting into and out of the vehicle. Counts should not be conducted at stops that you feel are unsafe. Stop locations may be moved up to a 0.1 mile (forward or back) or placed on a side road to avoid a dangerous location.
