Subpermit applications should be submitted by the Master permittee. We require a cover letter from the Master permittee concurring with the request and vouching that the sub applicant is fully trained. Please describe pertinent experience and indicate all the privileges the new subpermittee will need, such as species, states/countries, auxiliary marking authorizations and any special capture techniques.
If a new subpermittee is associated with a new auxiliary-marking project, include a separate page detailing that project. See: http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/BBL/manual/aarequs.htm If you do not include all of these details, your application will be seriously delayed.
A master bander can request that a subpermittee be added by addressing all the points listed at: http://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/BBL/manual/pmtreq.htm
