The following information was compiled by BH Powell, biologist, Bird Banding Laboratory. Internal Diameter (ID) is presented in inches, fractional inches (thousandths of an inch), and approximate metric equivalents. Bands are currently ordered in inches and not in mm. Size X, XA, XB are hummingbird band sizes. Hummingbird bands are cut to size and finished by the banders.
